Yesterday afternoon the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court issued a ruling voiding Acting Secretary Beam’s school mask order. However, early last evening, Western Area CTC was informed that the Wolfe administration has filed an appeal which will trigger a stay of the Commonwealth Court’s ruling.
As a result, Western Area CTC will continue to observe the school masking order throughout the duration of the Court proceedings as directed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and will continue to follow our Health and Safety Plan as posted on our website until directed by our Board to make changes.
