The Third Party Testing site will be re-opening on May 18th. We will be testing for Class A, Class B, School Bus and Passenger. In these very unique times some temporary adaptations will be implemented. Please read the message below and be prepared to adhere to the new guidelines. There will be NO exceptions made.
As always, only one person will be tested at a time. We will be closing our Training Center and waiting area to all, except for the candidate and their sponsor. Multiple candidates must make their own arrangements to be the site at their appointed times. Please keep in mind the social distancing guidelines as per the state.
If you are feeling ill or have a fever on the day of the test, PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP, reschedule. We will make every attempt possible to reschedule you as quickly as possible. (48 hour rule still applies)
Applicants may park in front of the CDL Training Center and remain in their vehicles until called by the Instructor.
We expect to have a large influx of candidates. Please be prompt. Applicants arriving after their designated time will not be permitted to test.
Masks (face coverings) are required. WACTC will NOT supply them. It is the candidate's responsibility to supply them. NO CANDIDATE WILL BE TESTED WITHOUT THE PROPER PPE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
The state has advised us to expect the normal turn-around time for the successful candidate to receive their newly acquired license. Many of the state employees are working from home to process the paperwork. It was not referred to in their response, but we would expect the state will NOT be addressing advance issuing except in emergencies. We will make the attempt, but can not promise anything.
If your permit expired after March 16th, the state is granting an extension until June 30th, BUT you MUST notify us of your situation. There are procedures we must go through to conduct a valid test. Failure to notify us in advance of an expired permit will result in rescheduling your test date and time.
