Course Objective:

Provide students with the knowledge, willingness, and capability to participate effectively in our legal and political society.

 

Course Description:

Government provides students the opportunity to understand the basis for the American political and legal systems, how they evolved, and the impact the Constitution has had on our political legal systems.  Students gain an understanding of their rights and responsibilities as U.S. citizens.  Current events will also be addressed.
